Our Golden's Scentwork Fun

We have been busy the last few months traveling to scentwork trials. We are having so much fun working together. Motley and I tried our hand in Detective. She did her job very well. I on the other hand learned I needed to go back on work on my handling and reading of Motley's behaviors to indicate odor. I usually am not nervous at a trial but for some reason the distractions of a fairground prevented me from reading her correctly. We still had a blast and enjoyed our time. She did finish her Master Exterior title. Remi had a great weekend at the same trial. He finished several titles.

Motley, Jovi and I attended the Dachshund Scentwork trial. Motley finished her Master Containers and overall Master title. Jovi picked up one more buried leg. We had so much fun working together.

When I attend trials I remind myself to enjoy each run with my goldens. Having fun means more than ribbons or titles. It's about having fun with your dog.
