2025 Trial Fun

We have been having so much fun training and trialing in AKC sports so far this year. Joplin and Rowan started the year off at the Golden Retriever Club Specialty in St Louis. Both girls earned their CCA (Conformation Assessment Certificate through Golden Retriever Club of America). Joplin also show in the conformation ring and received a third place.

February saw us in Shepherdsville, KY at an AKC Scentwork trial. Jovi, Joplin and I had fun. Jovi finished her Master Interior and Containers titles and got a leg in Master Buried. Joplin finished her Advanced Exterior title and picked up another leg towards her advanced buried.

March saw us at the Muncie Scentwork trial in Indiana. Motley finished her Master Interior and Master Buried titles. Joplin also came along and finished her Advanced Interior, Containers, and Buried titles. She also finished her Excellent Exterior title.

We continued our March Scentwork fun in Columbia, MO with Denver and Rowan. ( Our daughter's girls) Denver finished her Advanced Buried title. Rowan got legs towards her Novice titles. Kimber also played in Barn Hunt earning another Master leg.

We switched gears and played in Barn Hunt in March in Maryville, IL. Joplin earned her RATN novice title and Denver got two legs towards her novice title.

We ended March in Wentzville, MO at an AKC FETCH test. Jovi, Kimber, and Motley all finished their Intermediate title. Joplin tried her hand at FETCH and earned her Novice FETCH title.

We are looking forward to the next few months of Scentwork, Barn Hunt, Hunt and running in fields.
